ArchivalResource

Louis O. Plaisance notary public record, 1875 (Mar.)-1876 (Nov.).

Record copies of presentment documents, filled out and sent by Plaisance as a Ramsey County notary public, demanding payment for notes on which the Second National Bank of St. Paul was unable to collect. The records are indexed and were removed from a volume, the remaining pages of which were blank. A note on page 187 indicates that the record book was admitted in evidence in a district court case (James O'Brien, the signatory clerk, is listed in the 1877 St. Paul city directory as a clerk of district court).

187 p.
